I'm very glad to have found you on the web. The pin from my old unit Air Force Combat Control Pinis awesome and I'll be proud to wear it. Thank you very much.

This is a museum quality reproduction of a wing shown on page 38 of the book "Thirty Years of US Army Pilot Wings" by Charles I Fitzsimmons. The wing is made in sterling silver with the letters US in 24kt gold plate. This is a rather modern looking design for WWI and a unique looking wing for that era. Dr. Firzsimmons does not provide any insight into the wing. It may have been a one of a kind. The silver parts are mounted on a brass plate which is covered by the wool cloth. As was the original. This would be a unique addition to any WWI Collection.
