The is a museum quality reproduction in sterling silver with 24k gold plating of a WWI CPO, Chief Petty Officer, Hat Devise. The pin is 1 ¾ inches tall. The rope is a heavier one that is used on other Navy and Marine insignia and the USN follows the rope in this design.
