This is the highly sort after TWA Pilot wing. This is museum quality reproduction of this pilot’s wing. It is one most the most beautiful and different wings you will ever find. This wing dates from 1945 to 1950s when Transcontinental & Western Air changed its name to Trans World Airlines. There was a transitional period roughly between November 1945 and May of 1950 when Transcontinental & Western Air became known as Trans World Airline (note there is no ‘s’ in ‘airline’). These wings date from that time period. From about May of 1950, corporate officially changed the name to Trans World Airlines (they officially added the ‘s’ to ‘airline’).
