After the 1968 attack on the CCN, Paul was flown to an Navy Hospital. After his wounds were healed, Paul rejoined his Group and headed for CCC. During his stay there, his sleeping quarters was hit by an NVA rocket. Luckily, the rocket exploded outward and not into the hooch where Paul was sleeping. Paul was convinced they were after him.
